Scavenger Hunt 30/06/07
Thank you to all those who helped out and attended the scavenger hunt. The children had 15 minutes to collect as many different items as they could in their bags. Although a very wet day, we still had fun and we had some super entries for the craft competitions.

Fire Trip 21/06/07
Dring summer term the children enjoyed learning about the different clothes that people wear, especially when going to work. We had a very interesting day at the local fire station watching a fireman put on all of his protective clothing. The fire engines were great fun to explore, with all of the special tools and rescue equipment. Later on we were even able to have a go at holding the hose with the fireman. We had a lot of fun splashing around and getting wet, some of the mums got a bit wet too which was really funny.

Village Garage Sale 10/06/07
Many thanks to all those who supported the village garage sale, fortunately the weather stayed on our side for the day, and following our sucess we will be holding another garage sale next year!

Race Night 21/04/07
An amazing £648 was raised from our Race Night.  The money from this is going towards an exciting new reading area in the pre-school room.  Thanks to everyone who came along and supported this event, I'm sure that you'll agree it really was a fun evening and we look forward to holding another one next year.

Bogman race 09/04/07
Our cake and refreshment stall at this years Bogman race event raised a total of £112.88.  Money raised from this will go towards the purchase of a set of diversity books for our personal and social education.  Special thanks to those who baked cakes and ran the stall on the day.

Teddy Toddle 08/07/06
Our main fundraising event for 2006 was a sponsored Teddy Toddle which raised a huge £800. Children from the pre-school and toddler group enjoyed taking their teddy bear on a short sponsored journey and finished the afternoon with a family picnic.

Colne Valley Railway 13/06/06
To compliment the summer half terms “journeys” theme our outing for 2006 was to Colne Valley Railway. We had great fun attending an exciting event which is aimed specifically at pre-school aged, foundation stage children.

Forthcoming Events

Our next event will be the Autumn Shopper & Open Day on Saturday 13th October from 10am til 1pm. Always a very popular event and a great oportunity to have that family portrait photograph taken in time for Christmas. Please contact Delia Prior to arrange a sitting time. This year we have Usborne Books, Phoenix Cards, Chocoholics, Tish Tash Toys, Body Shop and Pampered Chef. The pre-school rooms will also be open for you to take a look around and see what the children get up to.
